For the purposes of this GDPR Statement, the term “websites” shall refer to all websites operated by Marketing Alliance Group Ltd., collectively, “we” or “us” or “our” “ourselves” which link to this Policy.

The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a new standard for how companies use and protect EU citizens’ data, which came into effect on 25th May 2018.

What is the GDPR?
The GDPR replaces the Data Protection Directive 95/46/EC and is designed to harmonise data protection laws across Europe to protect and empower all EU citizens’ privacy and to reshape the way organisations across the region approach data privacy.

What is Marketing Alliance Group doing?
We want to ensure we meet our legal obligations and do the best we can for our clients and customers while allowing us to remain agile so we can continue to develop great products and services.

Strong data protection commitment is a key part of the GDPR’s requirements. Our data processing agreement shares our privacy commitments and sets out the terms for Highspring Group Ltd. and its clients to meet the GDPR requirements.

Where, and only where required, each of our processes undertakes a different level of personal data collection, usage, storage and disposal.

Our Privacy Policy is current and up to date but may be modified to ensure it continually meets the new standards.

We will constantly review and work with our suppliers to ensure they meet the standards required by the GDPR in order that we may continue to comply. Where necessary, we have data processing agreements with them.

We use Google’s Cloud Storage solution to manage most of our data. Google is committed to continued GDPR compliance and currently holds ISO 27001 certification (information security controls for cloud services) across all the Cloud services that Marketing Alliance Group Ltd. utilises.
